Actuator Assembly Repair & Overhaul

FAA & EASA certified actuator assembly repair and overhaul.

About the Actuator Assembly

An actuator assembly is the powered output device within an aircraft's actuation system, converting an electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic input into controlled linear or rotary motion to position a load such as a valve, flap, door, or flight-control surface. It typically integrates a drive element, a gear or screw mechanism, mechanical stops or limit features, and a position-feedback or rigging provision, all enclosed in a housing with seals and bearings. As a motion-producing unit, its primary function is to deliver repeatable, accurate travel against system loads. Common degradation modes driving repair include worn bearings and gear backlash, seal leakage, scored or galled output members, contaminated or pitted internal surfaces, electrical connector or motor faults, and drift in feedback elements, all of which degrade positioning accuracy and response over service life.
