9” Check Valve Repair & Overhaul

FAA & EASA certified 9” check valve repair and overhaul.

About the 9” Check Valve

A 9-inch check valve is a large-diameter, passive one-way valve in the pneumatic and air management system that allows airflow in a single direction through major bleed or distribution ducting while blocking reverse flow, preventing cross-bleed and protecting upstream sources during reverse-pressure conditions. Forward pressure unseats a flapper or split-disc element, and reverse pressure plus spring force reseats it to seal the line. Its large size and continuous exposure to hot, pulsating, high-volume airflow make it prone to seat and flapper wear or erosion causing reverse leakage, hinge-pin and bushing wear, spring fatigue altering reseat behavior, corrosion and contamination causing sticking, and fretting of sealing faces. These conditions drive leak and functional testing, seat and hinge repair, spring replacement, and overhaul.
