Quad Heat Exchanger (FCAC and Non-FCAC) Repair & Overhaul

FAA & EASA certified quad heat exchanger (fcac and non-fcac) repair and overhaul.

About the Quad Heat Exchanger (FCAC and Non-FCAC)

A quad heat exchanger is a four-pass plate-fin core that transfers heat between hot engine bleed air and cooler ram or fan air across multiple integrated passages, supporting both fan-air-cooled (FCAC) and conventional non-FCAC pack configurations. Sited within the air cycle pack, it performs primary and secondary cooling duties in a single brazed assembly to condition bleed air before and after the air cycle machine. Hot and cold streams flow through stacked fin layers separated by parting sheets. Repair and overhaul are driven by fin and parting-sheet cracking from thermal cycling and vibration, internal and external leakage at brazed joints, fin erosion, corrosion, and core fouling or blockage from debris and contaminants that reduce thermal effectiveness and increase pressure drop.
