Reheater/Condenser Repair & Overhaul

FAA & EASA certified reheater/condenser repair and overhaul.

About the Reheater/Condenser

A reheater condenser is an integrated heat-transfer component within the high-pressure water-separation loop of an air cycle pack, combining reheater and condenser functions to remove moisture from process air before it enters the cooling turbine. The condenser section cools the air below its dew point so entrained water can be coalesced and extracted, while the reheater stage recovers energy and reheats the dried air to manage downstream temperatures. It is central to the system's reheaters and condensers capability. As a brazed compact core, it is prone to internal fouling, corrosion, fin damage, and braze-joint cracking producing cross-leakage or external leaks. Loss of separation efficiency, blockage, and pressure-drop increase commonly drive cleaning, repair, leak testing, and performance restoration.

Our Reheater/Condenser Repair Capability

QTC repairs and overhauls reheater/condenser components to the original manufacturer's specifications under our FAA and EASA Part 145 approvals. Our engineers — including former OEM heat transfer specialists — perform teardown, inspection, cleaning, component replacement, functional and leak testing, and certification, and develop repairs for rejected and beyond-economic-repair (BER) hardware.
