Temperature Control Valve Repair & Overhaul
FAA & EASA certified temperature control valve repair and overhaul.
About the Temperature Control Valve
A temperature control valve regulates conditioned air temperature within the pneumatic and air management system by modulating the proportion of hot bleed air mixed with cooled pack air, maintaining the selected cabin or zone temperature. It is typically a butterfly or poppet valve driven by a pneumatic actuator or torque motor and governed by a temperature controller. Because it cycles continuously across a wide temperature range, its dominant degradation modes are actuator wear, seal and diaphragm deterioration, sticking or binding of the valve element, seat erosion, and drift from calibrated set points. Inspection commonly reveals sluggish response, internal leakage, hysteresis, and worn linkages. Overhaul restores actuator integrity, seat and seal condition, and calibrated modulation so the valve achieves accurate, repeatable temperature regulation across its operating range.
Our Temperature Control Valve Repair Capability
QTC repairs and overhauls temperature control valve components to the original manufacturer's specifications under our FAA and EASA Part 145 approvals. Our engineers — including former OEM pneumatic & air management specialists — perform teardown, inspection, cleaning, component replacement, functional and leak testing, and certification, and develop repairs for rejected and beyond-economic-repair (BER) hardware.
