About QTC
What does QTC do?
Qualified Technologies Corporation is an FAA & EASA Part 145 certified repair station specializing in the repair and overhaul of aircraft environmental control system (ECS) and associated pneumatic, hydraulic, and sensing components.
Who founded QTC?
QTC was founded by former aerospace OEM engineers from Hamilton Sundstrand and Honeywell. After Hamilton Sundstrand closed its Long Beach facility, a group of its engineers formed QTC to continue repairing the same ECS product lines.
Where is QTC located?
QTC is in Upland, California, in the eastern Los Angeles basin, adjacent to Cable Airport and near Ontario International Airport. See our location page.
Certifications
What certifications does QTC hold?
QTC is an FAA Part 145 certified repair station, holds EASA Part 145 approval (EASA.145.5940), and holds UK CAA approval. We are members of NBAA, RACCA, and ACPC.
Can QTC release components for both FAA and EASA operators?
Yes. Holding both FAA and EASA Part 145 approvals lets QTC support operators on both sides of the Atlantic. See our certifications.

Services
What is the difference between repair and overhaul?
Repair corrects the specific discrepancies found and returns a unit to serviceable condition; overhaul is a full teardown that restores the unit to OEM limits. QTC offers repair and overhaul.
Can QTC recover Beyond Economic Repair (BER) components?
In many cases, yes. Our engineers develop custom repairs for condemned hardware. See reverse engineering & BER.
