Collins Aerospace is the successor to Hamilton Sundstrand, a longtime original equipment manufacturer of aircraft environmental control systems — air cycle machines, heat exchangers, valves, and the air-management hardware at the heart of cabin conditioning.
QTC's founders are former aerospace OEM engineers from Hamilton Sundstrand. After Hamilton Sundstrand closed its Long Beach facility and moved its product lines, a group of those engineers formed Qualified Technologies — an FAA & EASA certified repair station concentrating on the same ECS capabilities and product lines. That OEM background in system design, manufacturing, fabrication, and quality assurance is exactly what lets QTC repair and overhaul these components to specification.
